RaccoonShift is aimed to bring you a search experience that should be private, fast and rich, and customizable so you can tailor it to your preferences. It serves as a metasearch engine that gathers results from other popular search engines, delivering them to you while shielding your identity to keep private information like IP address and search habits away from prying eyes.

Proxied Content

When you browse the web, your device is assigned a unique IP address that can be used to track your activities. RaccoonShift will proxy content by default to automatically send requests through the servers first, then send you the content such as favicons, images, and more.

Dumpster Dive

Leverage the Dumpster Dive feature to safely investigate any website before you click. Get a quick report with a screenshot, customer reviews, reputation data, and other critical insights to quickly access if it's trustworthy to visit. All without leaving the search.

No Shenanigans

You won't be littered with ridiculous things like annoying pop ups, banners, AI, advertisements, trackers, and other shenanigans. RaccoonShift aims to provide a clean, uninterrupted experience.

To help with understanding how users interact with RaccoonShift, you can also opt-in to RaccoonShift Spot. It is used to track certain events on how you interact with the product, all events such menu interactions, pages you navigate to, settings you toggle, and filters used. This won't track your searches and all requests are anonymous, it can't profile you. RaccoonShift Spot is integrated with privacy in-mind.
